Hi, I can do this on iPhone and iPad, your application would be able to scroll all content available in phone book of your iPhone or iPad, you can send out SMS or make a call after a confirmation, but remember when ever you go for a call or SMS your application would be close than call or SMS app would be launch automatically for more action.
